Today…Black Friday…November 27, 2009, marks the launch of Pozek On Pension – a blog about all that is new and noteworthy in the private retirement system. I didn’t necessarily plan to launch this blog on Black Friday. Rather, I was awaiting just the right topic for my inaugural post. With that said, I am not in bad company with other things that launched on this date in history:
1839 – The American Statistical Association was founded in Boston.
1910 – New York’s Penn Station opened.
1942 – Jimi Hendrix came into the world.
1963 - U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson delivered his first address to a joint session of Congress.
My goal is to post at least weekly, although I am not a big fan of rambling if there is nothing to ramble about. I hope you will find Pozek On Pension interesting or informative or worthwhile in some way. I welcome your comments on my posts as well as your e-mails if you would like to contact me directly at adam@pozekonpension.com.
